I’ll never understand how Chelsea convinced United to pay €50M for Andre Santos, yet Arsenal struggled to get decent money for players like Martinelli & Jesus. Just weird market that Chelsea creates and benefits from.
That first goal from Brighton should have never stood. Sesko was tackled off of the ball. Two players clattered into him, but what’s his name just ran into him without trying to make a play on the ball. It’s ridiculous. And then the goal from Man City should have happened either. Really unjust outcomes for them lately.

United won the majority of the duels but Brighton committed three times the number of fouls. Dirty team and got a pass from the refs. Corrupt.
Bring back big Ron Atkinson at least you’ll win a FA CUP
I see United going at least another 13 years without a title maybe beating the 26 year previous record
Anyone who understands the game could see this coming. Carrick got all the hype playing one game per week last season. He’s a below average coach and will not get the better of any decent coach.
Ale asking what went against Utd in this game. The first goal was from a CLEAR foul on Sesko. It was so clear that the whole team stopped playing. All Carrick meant by his statement is that little things have been going against the club and it will change. Utd have a new team now and are a work in progress. It will take a bit of time but they need a win to build confidence.
You don't motivate your players through an after game interview. You do that in the dressing room, behind closed doors, where you can say what you mean, passion and all. Carrick said the right things, actually the only things he could have said, for the public's and reporters' consumption. Maybe some hard one-on-one discussions are in order. There should be, definitely.
pressure is not on carrick.. its on his players.. look at them.. even B squad played better when these main players came in.. just holding the ball no striking or anything..
We can blame Carrick all you want. The owners are incompetent fools and INEOS are worse, all their other clubs they control are bottom of the table in their respective leagues.
This is Carrick's own fault. That Santos and Tielemans midfield pairing is the worst possible pairing for this United side. That left the inexperienced CBs far too exposed when under attack and with no reliable outlet when playing out. There was a noticeable difference when Mainoo came on but at that time, the damage had already been done and United were chasing an equalizer. And my goodness, what is Carrick doing about instilling a winning mentality and a sense of urgency into this group of players? Shocking!
Lastime MAN UTD blew a 2 GOAL "LEAD" @ OLD TRAFFORD........"EASTENDERS" wasn't even aired on TV. This LOT is on the "WRONG" side of HISTORY. I wouldn't wanna be any of them "PLAYERS" right now.
Manchester United need someone like Ole Solskjaer who can stabilize the dressing room. Don’t focus on title for few years. Stick with the manager and give him atleast 3 years or 6 transfer windows. UCL place is still possible since there are not five consistent teams (over the season) than them this year.
funny how these United fans don’t learn. if you’d told them Carrick wasn’t good enough, they would’ve attacked you 😂

look at this manager, these players (many of which have been at their club through years of failure) and a much-extended season… and expect it to work out well? 😂 funny
what makes this hilarious is that when Roy Keane, a United legend, stated that Carrick wasn’t fit for the job and that if he did get it, he should be on a rolling yearly basis… United fans had the temerity to mock him calling him “jealous” and “clueless”

the irony being that these lot do not learn. your half-year last season was a fluke and as good as it was because everyone around you (notably Liverpool and Chelsea) were not turning up. if you thought this season, with such nonsense football, rubbish players and a lacking style of play while having more games, would work… you were one of the deluded ones 😂
