Valve's Steam Frame is okay... but I love other things about it
honestly it feels like no one can really recommend the steam frame to be bought at this price and the overall package why including steamos and all these itty bitty cool things everywhere still feels lacking and not disruptive…

probably will not see that many sales sadly
Oh my god I like you Linus cant ignore how biased you are when it comes to steam 'The steam machine excels at browsing'?Browsing?!?! My moms €300 can do that You move sooo quickly past the negative points and why should the consumer care what factors made the price what it is? If its a bad deal its a bad deal
After following it for a year, from back when it was known as the Deckard, I'm so excited to see it finally out, and I'm so exited at the idea of an OLED version. If only I could afford it, I'll be waiting to buy a used or broken one and fix it.
Valve basically priced themselves at the worst possible place, a no-sell land where they're not cheap enough to fight Meta and not baller enough to take away Pimax or Bigscreen customers. This and the Steam Machine are their biggest miscalculations ever. And either the Pimax Dream Air or a new Meta Quest is gonna be the final blow.
High key, I'm going to love a 'quest' with streaming that just works(tm).
That's my biggest complaint against my brother's quest. Now I've just got to get an AMD gpu to replace my b580 😭
Second
The Steam Frame looks awesome!
I think its fantastic how you can play regular desktop games on it as well. How does the out of box headstrap feel? The original ones on the Quest headsets give me headaches making long sessions difficult.
