Thar-Fortuner ‘Bhaigiri’ Gets a Reality Check With a Road Safety Pledge
Decode With Sudhir Chaudhary: Why do Thar and Fortuner instantly make people cautious on the road? These SUVs have developed a strong road image, with social media often showing them in videos involving speeding, dangerous driving, stunts and road show-offs. But in Daman, owners of Thar and Fortuner came together for an unusual “Thar-Fortuner Sankalp Yatra” to promote road safety and took a pledge carrying messages like “Bhaigiri Nahi, Zimmedari” and “Jo Ghar Se Nikla Hai, Woh Ghar Ko Lautega.” But why were only Thar and Fortuner included in this initiative? The real issue is not the vehicle, but irresponsible driving—and road safety should apply to every vehicle and every driver.
Decode With Sudhir Chaudhary: Thar
