The family of the slain 20-year-old Tshepang Nyathi, who was stabbed to death on Tuesday during Spring Day celebrations, have appealed for swift justice.
Nyathi was allegedly stabbed to death by a 53-year-old man in Refilwe, Cullinan, while a group of young people were celebrating Spring Day by splashing each other with water.
The suspect appeared in the Cullinan Magistrates' Court on a murder charge.
The matter was postponed to the 8th of September, while he remains in custody. SABC News reporter Patricia Visagie has the story.
