Deputy Minister in the Presidency Kenny Morolong has called on South Africans to preserve the country's history and reflect on the milestones achieved since the dawn of democracy.
Speaking during the Milestones of Freedom campaign, at the historic Waaihoek Wesleyan Church precinct in Bloemfontein, Morolong warned that a nation that forgets its history, risks losing its way.
The campaign highlights key moments in South Africa's journey, including the 1956 Women's March, the 1976 uprisings and the adoption of the Constitution in 1996.
