Madlanga Commission | Vusimuzi "Cat" Matlala admits to knowing General Lesetja Senona

Alleged crime kingpin, Vusimuzi "Cat" Matlala has told the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry that he knew former Hawks head General Lesetja Senona before 2020 and turned to him for assistance after police raids on his home in December 2024.

Matlala testified that he contacted Senona following two separate raids and later enlisted the help of former Police Minister Bheki Cele.

According to Matlala, Cele intervened and the matter appeared to be resolved.
