Two-time world boxing champion, Zolani Tete shot dead

The former two-time world boxing champion, Zolani Tete, was shot dead in front of his house in Mdantsane near KuGompo City earlier this evening.

The 38-year old boxer was about to make his return to the ring after serving a four year doping ban.

Tete is a former Junior Bantamweight IBF champion and WBO Bantamweight Champion.

His murder was confirmed to SABC NEWS by his manager, Mlandeli Tengimfene.
