The Eastern Cape is preparing to bid farewell to Bibo Makwedini

The Eastern Cape is preparing to bid farewell to one of its own, rugby player Luqobo Bibo Makwedini.

His body returned home yesterday after he passed away in France earlier this month.

Eastern Cape Premier Oscar Mabuyane visited the Makwedini family to offer his condolences.

Those who knew Luqobo described him as a young man who carried the hopes of his community and proudly represented South Africa abroad.
