Truck drivers remain stuck in a massive traffic backlog on the N1 near Musina in Limpopo, due to congestion at the Beitbridge border post.
The trucks are transporting goods from South Africa to Zimbabwe, Malawi, Zambia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
At midday, queues stretched for more than 10 kilometres.
SABC News reporter Lutendo Bobodi reports that delays have been blamed on limited parking spaces, and slow scanning and screening procedures on the Zimbabwean side of the border.
