Makhaye's remains repatriated from Russia

The South African government has successfully repatriated the body of a 44-year-old man from Kranskop in KwaZulu-Natal.

Sihle Makhaye died in Russia after being recruited by foreign agents in December under false promises of job opportunities.

Once there, he was forced to join Russia's ongoing war against Ukraine.
