Nairobi hosts major electric vehicleparade promoting shift to clean transport

Nairobi is emerging as a regional hub for electric mobility as adoption of electric vehicles accelerates across the capital. At a major electric-vehicle parade in the city, industry players showcased the shift to clean transport with a 43-kilometre convoy of electric cars, motorcycles and trucks. Kenya Power says it is moving to scale up charging infrastructure as demand rises, even as stakeholders warn the system must keep pace with rapid adoption.
