Passaris Defends Community Health Promoters Over Excessive Social Health Authority Deductions

Nairobi County Woman Representative in the National Assembly Esther Passaris has defended community health promoters over what she described as excessive medical deductions by Social Health Authority. Speaking after meeting the health promoters, Passaris urged the Ministry of Health to reduce the amount deducted from the volunteers from the current 1,000 shillings to 500 shillings. She argued that their income is low and deductions should reflect their earnings.
