Passengers from several countries who were on board the Hantavirus-hit cruise ship MV Hondius, are being evacuated from Spain.
Several German nationals have returned home, and are being quarantined at Frankfurt University Hospital after arriving on a Dutch flight.
The vessel arrived in Tenerife on Sunday.
Authorities in the United Kingdom say all passengers and crew will be required to isolate for 45 days.
At the same time, the United States says its citizens from the ship will be monitored at a specialised facility in Nebraska.
Three people have died since the start of the outbreak.
