About 70 vehicles involved in pileup on Colorado interstate
This is why I never drive north of Interstate 20(I-20), Interstate 10(I-10) and Interstate 8(I-8) from October to May from Florida to Arizona while watching the weather radar carefully while traveling on these two interstates. Bad weather can happen anywhere these days.
I was involved in a similar situation, years ago. ice had formed on the road, causing drivers to lose control of vehicles, even though everyone was driving slowly. we all decided to deal with the vehicle damage ourselves.
I'm surprised people weren't killed . <br>So many times these accidents happen in the US and Canada . There's Slogan in Canada , WHEN YOU SEE SNOW GO SLOW .
This pile up is preventable if you slow down and drive for conditions. Just because a speed limit is posted at 65, 70, 75, or 80 it is against the law to drive those speeds in unsafe weather conditions. You could could a reckless driving ticket. Slow down, cruise control off you'll be fine. If you think different hand in your driver's license and never drive again.
