Actually, it was Zelensky who proposed starting negotiations without any preconditions, but Russia put forward a condition: before talks could begin, Ukraine had to withdraw its troops from the unoccupied part of the Donbas and hand that territory over to Russia.
<br>Yet, for some reason, Trump blames Zelensky while having no grievances against Putin. On the contrary, he lifted sanctions on Russia, thereby supporting its aggression. The US is on the side of evil.
