There is an external hand that is pressuring the government to implement this. I've never seen the South African government act so urgently.

Does traditional media, police, defense forces and political analysts really believe that the government is acting in the best interests of the people.
@mariahkamogelomoloisane6276
South Africans have straightforward demands: deport all illegal immigrants, withdraw from the current UN convention and rejoin with reservations, and amend the constitution to prioratise the citizens first. The white paper will fail if this is not done and it is goung to cost the country millions in litigations and the current unrest or violence will not stop.

How is home affairs going to screen them for criminal records?

WE HAVE CRIMINALS WHO ENTERED THE COUNTRY ILLEGALLY!! Arrest them!!!
@myrahtshabalala5473
Since this is an international agreement, which other countries have had the flooding that we've just seen?
For the fact that this government doesn't know how to implement this madness, can only mean this is a first & how so?

Home Affairs needs to be reset including staff

Ayi, the posture! Defensive mode...
@myrahtshabalala5473
What should we S.Africans do who need the services of home affairs? Should we go join those very long queues?
@mervernrose6595
I am sitting with ID problems on my property . My one and only home of which I do not have the Title Deeds yet since 2016. Have reported to Home Affairs and still waiting. We as South Africans are suffering whilst our government makes criminals from other countries a priority. I hate this government.
@mariahkamogelomoloisane6276
In this court judgment, the court said that the Minister of Home Affairs handled the entire case with absolute "gross ineptitude and egregious laxity" (basically, total incompetence and extreme laziness). If you look at pages 25 and 26 of the judgment, specifically under paragraph 50, Justice Majiedt called them out for completely messing up their legal paperwork. The department filed their appeal more than two months late, didn't even bother to ask the court for forgiveness or explain why they were late, and used the completely wrong court rules to file it. The judge basically said that Home Affairs either didn't know the rules or just didn't care that they were breaking them, which is completely unacceptable for a government department that is supposed to uphold the law.

So, someone in Mayville can apply for their entire clan who are still in Bangladesh, then figure out a way to sneak them into the country fir them to be processed?
@NomvulaMokoena-y9s
She must explain why did ANC not listen to Aaron Motswaledi when he flaged the problem with our assylum/refugee laws. ANC has sold the country, they must just exit UN refugee treaty, until a referindum from the citizen can be done. We cannot be forced to intergrate with people that the government dont even know who they are. She cannot explain why some application takes over 10yrs to attend to.
@damonriekers4674
ANC running around stopping fires because the DA outsmarted them to implement DA policy through court
@bathenebuthelezi1614
Rubbbish Rubbbish.....how can an asylum seekers have address 😮😢? Lies of ANC are exhausting
@myrahtshabalala5473
What is the cutoff line from all the fearful queues we've seen?
Can home affairs cater for all the languages
@sakhilehleza591
So to kill the queues that will trigger to us that you are undertaking this process foreigners, home affairs will do a digital application. Nina nidlala ngathi. No one must vote for gnu parties

Paul Kagame in Rwanda said his country is not forced to take Asylum from neighboring DRC yet Rwanda just won Formula 1 Race 2030 beating countries like South Africa. From this it is clear SA has no leadership who can challenge absurd decisions emanating from that dictatorial United Nations
@philafortune1164
If that happens then no south african should ever stand in line for home affairs. We all get to be processed online first. While they go back home.
@myrahtshabalala5473
She's not mentioning anything on the verification of all those men we saw without their families. How is government going to meet their sexual needs?
@GoldenMountainDev
When are we going to workout on our own challenges as South African living in poverty, people from KZN, Eastern Cape etc coming to Johannesburg for greener pastures. Focus on us please not immigration. Thyini
