The only one who is going to buy a pc like that now is an ai developer or a rich boy with lots of throwaway money. There is just no way to justify spending that much for a gamiing machine at that price. I wonder if the pc market will ever be for gamers again.
I bought this RAM only a few weeks B4 the price rise (yes, i got really lucky). It is officially on my motherboard QVL list and i am wondering if it is worth overclocking? I have a 7800x3d but am going to put a 9950x3d2 in it.
Excellent! You've finally bought the bits you need for my replacement computer then 😃

Now all you need to do is figure out how to squeeze it all into a tiny potato themed piano and I'll come and collect it when it's ready.

Thanks guys. Mwah! Mwah!
The 9950x3d2 is not a gaming cpu for anyone wondering it performs worse than it's older counterpart and it's for Ai learning and heavy workloads so be careful how you spend your money
I remember playing tf2 in the computer room at lunch with Linus. Dude helped me set up my first steam account when I was a little grade 8. It’s crazy how far he’s come since then. Mad props man.
0:26 never mind the highest megatransfers per second... cl26 is crazy, cl 30 is already considered more than you realistically will need.
Seeing my ram 128gb ddr5 ram(2×64 kit) that used to cost around 1.1k compared to that 2×32 64gb ram kit, on the video, makes my brain freaking hurt. 5090 used to cost below 3k. Then every ai company ruins consumers life. I hope one day, just one day, for their pc exploded😒
We can build any pc with most expensive components
The use is running frontier models locally this can't do anything there is no point of spending so much on this PC instead getting Mac studio is way much better with their latest model having so much vram
6 years ago, $10,000+ was overkill while even using the highest spec'd parts. You could practically build 3-4 PC's with the same top-tier config.
Im looking forward to the next $5000 AMD upgrade, where one lucky LTT employee gets 2 sticks of DDR5, a full tank of gas, a paid power bill, and a week of groceries.
And people are expecting this performance in a $1200 next gen console. Either the console makers are going to take a huge hit on manufacturing costs or the idea that they could have this level of performance is unrealistic
10k for pc sounds pretty whack but then again. People put more than 10k to fix up a 82 toyota. So i guess it is what it is. PC gaming has became more niece nowdays and affordability is not a really a thing if it comes to best of the best parts you can slap into your gaming rig.
All this is not including the operating system monitor keyboard mouse wifi router or finally taxes/vat people. Finally a car note for playing videogames.
