she’s wonderful!!
that was the best Emmy speech ever, I agree. she's great. fun interview.
I loved her in Run! It was so different and she had such a great voice!
Nurse Jackie!!!!!
Loved her soooo much on Nurse Jackie.
I love Merritt Wever!
You didn't mention her performance in Unbelievable, a mini series. She was excellent as was the whole cast & series.
She captured my deep admiration as Zoe Barkow in Nurse Jackie.
Love Meritt Weaver! Amazing actress, so underrated.
I did a rewatch of Girls and she was in that too. 😮
Jackie is to Zoe as Edie is to Merritt ❤
A great actress who has been terrific in every thing she has been in.
I don't have pitty for the pedophiles, but it did feel bizarre watch something like that for entertainment.
Loved her since Nurse Jackie. Having had a brother and friend like Jackie, the scene where she told Jackie she had to go her own way because she couldn't worry about her anymore really hit me because those I just can't do this anymore moments are hard. Then in Unbelievable she was fantastic.
I always remember her amazing performance in Law and Order SVU.
I love love Merritt! I'll watch anything she is in. She was incredible in Unbelievable.
Playing a gift from writers. I really enjoyed this very human conversation ❤
“They think they’re hunting the monsters, & by the end, they find the monsters within themselves are revealed.“ I see this every day online—so many going after someone online who they believe is a “monster,” only to reveal the “monster” within themselves.
She’s great
I first became aware of Merritt Wever when I saw Unbelievable. She has never disappointed.

She was extraordinary in Pan Am 103, playing someone who knows how to play ball politically, but is also driven by her compassion and integrity.

A comedy series starring Wever? Where do I line up?

As for Chris Hansen, I always cringed at how smug he was about seeing himself as superior to child predators. Not a very high bar.
For people who like Merritt's smooth vocal style..she narrated an Audiobook called last night at Chateau Marmont by Lauren Weisberg and it's still available on Audiobook.....you're welcome. 😊
Oh Merritt We've... To echo Desi, anytime I see your name in something I know you are going to bring it and make it fabulous! You are a gift to us all!!
Tiny Beautiful Things. She's incredible in, the story is shocking and beautiful and everyone should watch it.
3:17 Did she have to use the bathroom? I’m confused at what happened there…
Love Merritt 😊
I loved her in nurse Jackie. ❤
We need more Merritt Weaver, and hope this film will get her to Oscars. She deserves all the accolades 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
i saw some of the program To catch a Predator while flipping thru channels finding something else, i was glad it was happening and predators were being caught , so didnt make it a thing to watch, i knew and felt jusice was being served, and it was too horrific for my nerves seeing that kind of thing was occurring in life, but never heard of Wever
Oh my gosh I love her so much! Love her work! Love this interview. Anything Merritt Weaver is in I want to watch!
Elizabeth from NEW GIRL
I love her SO much
Loved her since Nurse Jackie. Best series is "Unbelievable" I will watch anything with her in it.
We’re cinnamontoastken and buffpro?
Loved her as Denise in The Walking Dead.
Does anyone else remember this lady in Strike! With Kirsten Dunst? She was the one shrieking she wouldn't get into MIT if her school went co-ed. There were so many future stars in that film.
Started with Denise from Walking Dead. Anything Merritt is in is a guaranteed hit, with substance. 🤠
NEWS SHOULD BOYCOTT HIM & WH briefings. It'll drive him nuts. All they do is lie anyway.
I love that she showed the Emmy acceptance speech. I show it to everyone. I love it so much. 😉
I loved Merritt in Gilded Age. I wish she’d come back for a more permanent role. Reminding me she’s in Godless makes me want to watch it for the FOURTH time. That was such a wonderful series!
is her trigger word thing because she has social anxiety? because i could never do a show like this, i would break down from the anxiety
Desi is the best
❤Thank you both❤
Loved her on Studio 60.
Emotional honesty is rarely welcome in US culture.
Merritt and Phoebe Bridgers? Awesome. Plus Pattinson has convinced me on his skill too. This is something I'll look into.
Fell in love with her acting in Nurse Jackie but old school law and order I just recently saw her she was fantastic!
I love her! Her comedic talent in Nurse Jackie is just chef's kiss
Sorry…still no empathy for child predators.
Renew my subscription annually for Chris Hansen’s Tru Blu!
I had to check Google to see if Edie Falco was still alive.
She’s so talented and beautiful. I love how she always touches her cheek in interviews. Cute gesture 😆
I've loved her since Michael Clayton. Real ones know.
Another time ...
We used to arrest and make a public spectacle out of punishing child predators, now they run the country.
Friend
This is what being authentic does to some of us. Anxiety. Love this badass woman. Both of them actually.
Ms Wever is such a huge talent. She is a master character actor. From Signs, to Michael Clayton, to Godless, I've loved her in everything I've seen her in so far.
I have always liked her and it’s so cool seeing all the comments here for her! You guys rock!
First saw her on Law & Order: CI... she's phenomenal.
How about one of Netanyahu's special security men was outed by the "Primetime" host your film attempts to destroy. How this for not caring enough about the power behind her films.
Going to have to rewatch Severance, can’t remember her in it.
I love her in everything I've ever seen her in, but her role as Zoe in Nurse Jackie is my favorite. Her character's evolution through the show was beautiful. Can't wait for Primetime
One thing people underestimate is how effective fear is at controlling behavior. You dont necessarily need censorship or force if you can influence what people fear, what they trust and what they believe is socially acceptable. There’s a book called The Kastradin Principle by Daniel Kastradin that examines exactly this.
never heard so much talking without saying anything...that's what happens when you get a female buddhist ghuru, i guess.
It’s weird how little attention the book called The Kastradin Principle by Daniel Kastradin gets. In a world where people are constantly being told what to fear, who to trust and what to believe, youd think more people would be interested in understanding how that works.
Even great in The Walking Dead!

Can’t believe The Kastradin Principle by Daniel Kastradin is still this unknown. The book really makes you think about how much of what we consider our own opinions has been influenced by the information were repeatedly exposed to.
I love authentic people. ❤
I Don't Know her
I'm so happy to see Merritt doing interviews more often lately. I've been her fan for years, I know it's not easy for her to do this. Merritt, you deserve all the praise!🎉🎉🎉
More Merritt in more things, more more! Such an exceptional actor.
kick streamers do this steve hansen style of content so kids won’t be surprised
This is really cutting to the bone of what's wrong with most "reality" shows: The viewer is part of the problem.
I remember a similar show where cops would place unlocked really nice cars in poor black neighborhoods and entrapping them after they steal them. But for the cops doing this, no car theft would’ve happened.
I've been a longtime fan of Merritt's. This is amazing to see her on a late night TV show.
Sounds like Ms. Wever might just win herself an Oscar in 2027.
I first saw Merritt in an episode of Law and Order and she was so great I really couldn't take my eyes off of her. She is criminally under celebrated.
Loved her other primetime show "studio 60", they show it on the studio exec's scheduling board in her new movie.
I have never heard of her.
Meritt Wever has been exceptional in every role I have ever seen her in. I am so glad she's getting her due. I remember first noticing how fantastic she was on Studio 60.
I'll say what she couldn't. The film is relevant because our government is full of entitled, pdfs.
Can we make it mandatory for anyone who complains about their job to say how much they were paid please? If you're on a teacher's salary you have my sympathies
this was fascinating
Amazing performance in Run
Nope. Just NO.
She is amazing in everything - way back she's in MICHAEL CLAYTON, but she is incredible in GODLESS and UNBELIEVABLE
❤ Merritt! Such a brilliant actress!
Awe, Zoe, 1 of my fave characters ever: "I married my cat when I was 6. Made him a little tux & everything." 😹
Daily show keeps bringing on deranged right wing hacks for fluff interviews
Banana 🍌 Minestrone ???
I love her.
About effin time, she's an amazing actress!
So, a movie about Chris Hansen without Chris Hansen's approval—and you think it's worth watching? You guys are truly dumb .
I fell in love with her when she played Zoey Barkow... The feeling has never faded.
I just watched the Lockerbie Documentary on Netflix and she was INCREDIBLE!!
But her in Unbelievable is always my favorite.
You Democrats are amazing—promoting a film based on a real person like Chris Hansen, who actually criticized the movie because he wasn't consulted or involved in its production... Trump wasn't wrong about you guys. 😂
Every role I’ve ever seen her in, she fkng killed.
How lovely! It was an excellent interview
Merritt Wever is my girl crush!!
So cheesy intro. I love it.
"... it's true .." lol
Does she know how much we love her calm and peaceful voice. It's like it makes the show and story sound quieter and easier to get into. So gentle 😭
What a great interview with someone so authentic. Thanks Desi and much love and respect from Kenai, Alaska❤🤍💙💙💙
Love her!!!!
i definately watched to see what perverts looked like and how to spot them.. the talking to them part by the host was cringe at best..
Love her in nurse Jackie
Merritt it is a fantastic actress, really liked her in Godless.
