I bought a refurbished NAS from them two weeks ago and it came with broken bays. I emailed them at 10pm and they replied saying they'd send replacement bays to me. It arrived within the week they shipped them. Amazing customer support experience.

Ugreen is a clear choice versus their competitors when considering their products.

I have a DAS from them which I like except you cannot tune the fans. They have nice charging products as well, overall highly reputable in my eyes.

I'm not surprised they're expanding their lineup.

Can someone explain how a NAS system without any included storage can cost so much more when the only difference is extra bay capacity?
Sure if they are filled bays then clearly a huge price difference is expected but empty bays. am I missing something or are is it just plain robbery as it seems?

I would never buy an off-the-shelf NAS myself, for me building it is part of the fun. But that thing is tiny and adorable, it would be great for someone who needs something that just works, and doesn't want it to take up a lot of space. I would like to have seen it with a 10Gb ethernet port, though. You can get 10Gb NICs relatively cheap now, the RTL8127 chip is low-power enough that it can actually be used for WOL, doesn't require a ton of extra cooling, and can auto-negotiate to 2.5Gb, so it solves most of the problems 10Gb NICs have traditionally had.

I love LTT so much and I am really disappointed that I don't find the videos as entertaining as I used to. I don't know why but I could watch any of the old videos again and enjoy them just as I enjoyed watching them the first time, but the new ones I just find somewhat boring? No hate to this video particularly, but most new videos don't have that interesting of ideas imo (other than the steam powered steam machine).

$3000, o wait $9,999 (basically 10k!) for a box and no hard drives. Are you guys nuts!? Who in their right mind would pay that for a NAS? Add a few hard drives and that would be the REAL price!
