EFC 138 Djikasa vs Born | Official Event Promo | 1 October 2026

A new heavyweight king will be crowned at EFC 138.

Undefeated number one contender Terrence “The Mountain” Born faces former two-time EFC heavyweight champion Matunga “HHH Power” Djikasa for the vacant EFC Heavyweight Championship on October 1.

Born has finished all four of his professional opponents and now faces the biggest test of his career against one of the most accomplished heavyweights in EFC history.

For Djikasa, it is an opportunity to reclaim the championship he has already held twice. For Born, it is the chance to turn an undefeated rise through the division into EFC gold.

The heavyweight championship headlines a huge EFC 138 fight card, with former EFC flyweight champion Gift Walker facing Sithembiso “ShakaZulu” Hadebe, alongside some of Africa’s most exciting established and emerging MMA talent.

EFC 138 is presented by World Sports Betting and takes place live from the World Sports Betting EFC Arena in Johannesburg, South Africa, on Thursday, 1 October 2026.

The preliminary card will broadcast live globally on Discover Sport, with the main card live on SuperSport, SABC Sport, Discover Sport, DAZN and other international broadcast partners.
