Concerns over crime in Bushbuckridge

Concerns are growing over increasing crime in communities around Bushbuckridge in Mpumalanga, which is threatening tourism in the area.

The Executive Mayor of the Ehlanzeni District Municipality, Terror Shabangu, says the high number of killings in the area is negatively impacting tourism in the Kruger National Park, which borders several communities in the Bushbuckridge area.

Shabangu was speaking during a District Development Model Imbizo at Hokwe Village.

The Imbizo addressed residents on their various service delivery challenges, including crime.
