This does not help us farmers and ranchers at all. We can barely afford fertilizer, parts and diesel and the costs involved in setting up what is basically your own slaughter house facility is something most of us can&#39;t begin to afford . This is just out of touch stupidity. Government needs to get out of the way ,stop hurting us with high fuel and fertilizer costs and undercutting us by bringing in foreign beef and let us build up our herds!

The entire point of trump&#39;s actions is to make sure that beef labels where and who the beef is from, and make sure that local farmers can get their beef inspected in state and to be sold in state, and let consumers decided who to buy from. This bypasses the big 4 companies who have the cattle monoploy in the US.
