Why did the court not sequester them over the weekend while they were on break? Someone once told me that when they served as a juror in a major case, not only were they sequestered, but no TV, cellphones and other devices, and no contact from family/friends unless it was an emergency. The judge made it very clear this is how they ran the trial without any outside influences (the trial lasted 11 weeks).
