rule

The rules

Seven principles. Each one keeps Vidnexa a place where people actually want to post.

1

Be respectful — to everyone

Treat other members the way you'd want to be treated in a room full of strangers. Critique ideas, not people. Disagree firmly but fairly. Don't talk down to newcomers, and don't use anonymity as cover for cruelty.
check_circle
Allowed: "I see it differently — here's why…"
cancel
Not allowed: "Only an idiot would think that."
2

No hate speech or discrimination

Content that attacks, dehumanizes, or promotes violence against people based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or age has no place on Vidnexa. This includes coded language, slurs, and "just joking" posts that are actually attacks.
check_circle
Allowed: Discussing controversial ideas, history, or politics respectfully.
cancel
Not allowed: Slurs, "us vs them" hate posts, or calls to harm a group.
3

No harassment, stalking, or threats

Don't target someone with repeated unwanted contact, doxxing, sexual attention, coordinated pile-ons, or threats of any kind — online or offline. If someone asks you to stop engaging with them, stop.
check_circle
Allowed: Strong disagreement in a single thread, then moving on.
cancel
Not allowed: Following a user across posts to keep attacking them.
4

Stay on topic — keep threads useful

Read the original post before replying. Keep comments relevant to the discussion. If you want to talk about something else, start your own post — that's how good conversations get their own space.
check_circle
Allowed: Following a side-point briefly, then bringing it back.
cancel
Not allowed: Flooding a thread with unrelated promotion or arguments.
5

Protect privacy — yours and everyone else's

Don't share phone numbers, home addresses, financial details, ID documents, or private messages without explicit consent. This applies to public figures too. If you wouldn't want it posted about you, don't post it about someone else.
check_circle
Allowed: Sharing your own contact info, if you choose to.
cancel
Not allowed: Screenshotting someone's DMs or address to "expose" them.
6

No spam, scams, or misleading content

Don't flood the feed with repetitive posts, fake giveaways, phishing links, or misleading claims. Genuine self-promotion is welcome — spam isn't. If something seems too good to be true, it usually is.
check_circle
Allowed: Sharing your podcast, channel, or project once, honestly.
cancel
Not allowed: Same link posted across ten threads, "free crypto" scams.
7

Follow the law — and Vidnexa's Terms

Don't post anything illegal or that infringes someone else's rights — including copyrighted material you don't own, private data you don't have permission to share, and content that violates our Terms of Service.

How enforcement works

Most members never see this ladder. But it's here, and it's consistent: every account is treated the same way.

info Step 1

Warning

First minor violation: the post may be removed and you'll get a heads-up explaining why.

hourglass_top Step 2

Temporary limit

Repeated violations: ability to post and comment is paused for a set period (usually 3–7 days).

block Step 3

Suspension

Serious or continued violations: your account is suspended and content is hidden from the community.

gavel Step 4

Permanent removal

Severe violations (threats, child safety, coordinated abuse): permanent ban and, where required, reporting to authorities.

handshake

We believe in giving second chances

Outside of severe cases, we prefer to work with people rather than against them. If you think a decision was wrong, you can appeal — see the FAQ below.

What's welcome — and what isn't

The vast majority of posts on Vidnexa are just people talking. Here's a quick check for the grey areas.

How to report something

Reporting isn't tattling — it's how the community stays clean. Every report goes to a human reviewer, and every report is read.

1

Find the post, comment, or profile

Go to the item you want to flag. You don't need to be the target — anyone can report anything that breaks these rules.
2

Open the ⋮ menu and click Report

Every post and comment has a three-dot menu in the corner. Choose Report post and pick the reason that best fits.
3

Add context if you have it

A short note helps reviewers act faster. If it's part of a pattern (someone following a user across threads), mention that.
4

Don't engage the bad actor

Replying to a troll gives them what they want and can escalate the situation. Report, block if needed, and move on. The community team handles the rest.
warning

Please don't abuse the report button

Mass-reporting content you simply disagree with wastes reviewers' time and can result in your own account being limited. Report only violations of these guidelines.

Frequently asked

What happens if I break a rule by accident?

Honest mistakes are almost always handled with a warning and an explanation. The enforcement ladder is aimed at patterns, not one-off slip-ups. If you realize a post broke the rules, you can delete it yourself — that goes a long way.

Can I appeal a decision?

Yes. If your post was removed or your account was limited and you believe it was a mistake, email community@vidnexa.com with the link to the affected content and a short explanation. Reviews typically take 2–3 business days.

Are private messages moderated too?

Vidnexa doesn't read your private messages. However, if someone shares a screenshot of a private message that violates our rules (threats, doxxing, harassment), we can act on the screenshot the same way we would on a public post.

Can I criticize Vidnexa itself?

Absolutely. Honest criticism of the platform, its features, or its policies is welcome — as long as it's respectful. We're not asking for loyalty, we're asking for civility between members.

What about content from kids?

Vidnexa is not for children under 13. Content that sexualizes minors, endangers minors, or reveals a minor's identity without consent is immediately removed and reported to the appropriate authorities.

How do I block someone?

Open the person's profile or the ⋮ menu on any of their posts. Choose Block. Blocking is mutual — you won't see their content, and they won't see yours. We don't notify them.

Will the person I reported know it was me?

No. Reports are confidential. The person you reported only learns that a report was filed, and even that only if action is taken.

Do these guidelines change?

Occasionally, as new situations come up. When we make a material change, we'll post an announcement in the community and update the date at the bottom of this page. Continued use of Vidnexa means you're accepting the updated guidelines.

Ready to join the conversation?

Now that you know the ground rules, there's nothing holding you back. Ask a question, share an idea, or just say hello.
